Liner Technician

This position requires high performance in the following areas: • Changeover time (downtime reduction) • First-piece quality approval rate • Equipment uptime and schedule adherence • Scrap and rework rates post-changeover • Safety compliance and incident prevention • 5S and workplace organization standards Key Responsibilities • Uphold and communicate the purpose, values, and vision of TriMas Packaging • Perform liner and tooling changeovers according to production schedule and standard operating procedures • Ensure proper installation, alignment, and setup of liners, change parts, and associated components • Troubleshoot setup issues and make necessary adjustments to meet product specifications • Monitor changeover efficiency and identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve processes • Work closely with maintenance and tooling teams to address equipment issues and perform minor repairs • Ensure all tools, parts, and materials are available and staged prior to changeovers • Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements during changeovers • Assist in training operators and team members on proper setup and changeover procedures • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to setup reduction and process optimization • Perform other duties as assigned
