Diabetes Program Coord
Job Description
Under limited supervision, develops, coordinates, manages andevaluates the multidisciplinary diabetes education program for the Capital Region Health system. Oversees and participates in the conducting of continuing education programs indiabetes for allied professionals and the general public. Functions as an expert resource to system leadership
Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in nursing or Registered Dietitian.
Certification as a Diabetic Educator (CDE)
2-4 years of experience in diabetes care and education including two years in a community health, hospital or ambulatory care setting and one year of experience in a supervisory role
