Location: Kansas City, MO
Pay Rate: $17/hour
Schedule: Thursday 3PM-7PM, Friday 3PM-6PM (with On-Call Availability)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-Time Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our dealership. This role is responsible for greeting customers, answering phone calls, and providing administrative support to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for visitors and staff.
Responsibilities:
Greet all customers and guests in a warm, professional manner
Answer and route incoming phone calls promptly and accurately
Maintain the front desk area to be clean, organized, and welcoming
Schedule appointments or direct customers to the appropriate department
Handle basic inquiries and provide accurate information about the dealership
Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scanning documents
Support sales, service, and office teams with miscellaneous clerical duties as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred (automotive industry a plus)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Comfortable using phones, computers, and office equipment
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Availability for part-time shifts, including some flexibility in scheduling
