We are searching for a Senior Financial Controller / Head of Finance (CZ & SLO) to join our Finance team. 

Role Overview

The Head of Finance is a senior financial leader responsible for overseeing the full finance, accounting, and controlling function for Czech Republic and Slovakia. Based in Prague, this role acts as the ultimate financial representative of the Czech entity and reports directly to the Regional CFO. The position leads a local finance team and supports business decision‑making across complex service and outsourcing contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance & accounting function, take overall responsibility for all related fields
• Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and Group (IFRS) accounting requirements
• Act as the primary financial representative for internal and external stakeholders, including authorities and auditors
• Coordinate financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities
• Supervise treasury activities, including cash-flow planning & analysis, overdue management)
• Oversee preparation of annual financial statements and manage statutory audit processes
• Lead, develop, and coach a local finance (controlling & accounting) team of 3-4 professionals
• Partner with the Country Manager and local business teams, providing financial analysis, calculations and guidance on questions related to financial aspects of the complex, managed services, and outsourcing contracts.

Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in finance with strong focus on controlling & business support preferably at a multinational company
•  Experience as an external auditor
• Good understanding of accounting principles and knowledge of IFRS
• Prove experience in the financial management or controlling of service provider companies (preferably IT sector) or companies with project type of business
• Hands-on experience working with SAP or similar ERP system
• Experience in system migrations such as SAP implementation
• Experience in leading small teams
• Fluent Czech & English (written and spoken).
