The Position
Wilson Elser's New Jersey office is currently seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing insurance coverage group.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with partners and attorneys on complex insurance coverage matters
- Draft coverage opinions and coverage position letters
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and manage discovery in coverage litigation matters
- Advise clients on a broad range of insurance coverage issues
- Communicate directly with clients and prepare detailed reporting and analysis
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in both New Jersey and New York
- 5+ years of insurance coverage litigation experience
- Experience handling coverage matters in New York, New Jersey, and other jurisdictions
- Strong background drafting coverage opinions involving: Commercial General Liability (CGL), Excess Coverage, Professional Liability, Directors & Officers (D&O), Property Coverage
- Experience with both first-party and third-party claims
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills

This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. This position is considered full-time and therefore qualifies for benefits including 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
