Job Summary
Administrative Assistants play an integral part in our surgical operations. They serve as the gatekeepers of our outpatient practices and ensure that teams are delivering the highest quality experience, exceeding our patients' expectations.Support responsibilities may include:
1.Performing receptionist and clerical duties
2.Surgical scheduling/coordination and scheduling patient appointments
3.Clinical and insurance referral management, health insurance payor review, specialty testing prior authorization, and scheduling of special testing.
4.Answering the telephone system promptly and gathering screening information; taking, relaying, and managing messages and/or providing routine information.
5.Supporting providers with calendar management and reconciliation of business expenses/reimbursements for the team.
6.Other special projects and administrative tasks that are assigned.
Qualifications
-High School graduate or equivalent required
-Associate's degree preferred
-A minimum of two years of medical office experience required
