What You’ll Do

As a Community Director, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of your assigned property and creating a positive living environment for residents. Responsibilities include:

• Leading all aspects of property management, including leasing, collections, tenant relations, and move-in/out processes.
• Supervising and motivating on-site staff to deliver top-tier service.
• Overseeing maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of work orders and high-quality unit preparation.
• Maintaining accurate records in property software (OneSite) and preparing all required reports, including HUD compliance documentation.
• Communicating effectively with residents, applicants, owners, and senior management.
• Enforcing lease terms and community rules, including handling evictions when necessary.
• Preparing for and overseeing Management and Occupancy Reviews (MORs) and REAC inspections.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 5 years of property management experience, preferably in affordable housing, with strong knowledge of HUD guidelines.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for building relationships with employees, residents, and vendors.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication paired with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Leadership and customer service skills that inspire trust and accountability.
• Experience with Onesite/Real Page software (preferred).
