HR Generalist - Agoura Hills, CA (Full-Time)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and collaborative HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. This role will serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers while delivering exceptional HR support across multiple functions.
Each HR Generalist has primary areas of responsibility while also serving as a cross-functional partner. Team members are expected to be cross-trained and work collaboratively, stepping in to support other HR functions as business needs evolve. This role reports to the HR Manager and is an in-office position due to the administrative responsibilities associated with the role.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding
Coordinate and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires.
Prepare and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
Ensure all required employment documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Partner with hiring managers to ensure a positive and seamless onboarding experience.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure new hires have the necessary equipment, system access, and resources.
Recruiting
Partner with hiring managers & Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting activities.
Assist with posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
Assist with candidate selection and offer processes.
Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Assist with employment branding and recruiting initiatives as needed.
Employee Relations
Assist with employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment matters.
Support managers with employee relations issues by providing guidance consistent with company policies and employment laws.
Assist with investigations, documentation, and resolution of employee concerns.
Promote a positive workplace culture through responsive employee support and effective communication.
Additional Responsibilities
Process employment verification requests (VOEs).
Maintain employee files and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
Prepare and distribute HR-related correspondence and mailings.
Assist with HR compliance and audit activities.
Support benefits, leave administration, performance management, and other HR initiatives as needed.
Maintain accurate employee data within Dayforce.
Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
Cross-train in all HR functional areas and provide support to teammates during peak workloads, absences, or changing business needs.
Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with exposure to multiple HR disciplines.
Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred
Experience using Dayforce will be a plus
HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR.
Experience supporting a mid-sized or large organization.

Work Environment
This is an in-office position. Regular onsite presence is required to support onboarding activities, employee interactions, HR administrative functions, document management, employment verifications, mail distribution, and other operational responsibilities.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is: $70,304 - $80,000
The final pay for this position will be determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, location, education, experience, training and skills.
