Job Description
The General Liability Attorney Represented Consultant investigates, analyzes, manages, evaluates and negotiates moderate value litigated and non-litigated Publix general liability claims. The incumbent oversees and directs Defense Counsel on litigation strategies, presents files to the Risk Management Senior Leadership Team for review, and attends mediations and trials in suit jurisdictions. The General Liability Attorney Represented Consultant reports directly to the General Liability Attorney Represented Supervisor General Liability Attorney Represented Manager.

Additional responsibilities include:
- conducts initial investigations and reviews information pertaining to individual claims,
- strategizes and develops litigations plans based on the information provided by Defense Counsel,
- reviews demand packages, attorney letters, CCTV’s and other information from the store that could result in changes to the file, and
- completes demand reviews and negotiations/settlements of claims.
