This is a hybrid role based out of our Burlington office in Ontario. As we continue to open new doors, we're inviting amazing people like you to join us.   Interested in learning more?  Why you'll love Westland:  An open, flexible and welcoming workplace   Plenty of opportunities to grow and learn  Autonomy to drive your own success  Be part of our inclusive culture, alongside an extraordinarily talented community of people with a wide variety of backgrounds A total rewards program that takes care of your financial, physical, and mental health  Flexible paid Values Days to celebrate days important to you Paid Volunteer Days for employees as part of Amplifying Communities, a program to support causes that matter most to our employees and clients    Why we’ll love You:   You bring 5+ years of experience in group benefits or employee benefits account management You have strong knowledge of group health, dental, life, disability, and ancillary benefits products You have a proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver strategic, results-driven solutions You’re an excellent communicator and problem solver, with strong presentation and negotiation skills You’re proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems Life licensed (LLQP) in your home province Industry designations such as CEBS or GBA considered strong assets You demonstrate accountability, collaboration, expertise, resiliency, and a client-first mindset  Once here, you'll:  Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of group benefits clients Build and maintain strong relationships with key client decision-makers, plan administrators, and advisors Lead annual renewals in collaboration with Underwriting, including carrier negotiations, rate analysis, and plan design recommendations Conduct regular client meetings to review plan performance, introduce new offers, and gather feedback Develop and implement benefits strategies tailored to client needs and business goals Prepare and deliver quarterly and mid-year reviews with actionable insights and recommendations Collaborate with carriers to implement plan changes, resolve claims issues, and ensure timely delivery of materials Respond to client inquiries on billing, claims, eligibility, and plan design Maintain accurate and current client records in CRM and internal systems Work closely with Sales, Underwriting, and Client Services to deliver seamless service Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Westland’s suite of benefits and insurance products to drive growth within existing accounts Track and report on retention and growth metrics   As part of our commitment to transparency, we want to let you know that while our recruitment system includes AI capabilities, these are never used to screen, evaluate, or select candidates.
