Overview At Gallagher Re, we’re looking for a Reinsurance Broker Associate to help move placements through every stage with care and accuracy. You’ll work closely with Client Advocates, Senior Brokers, Placement Support, Contracts, and other teams to keep renewals, submissions, and cover documents on track. This role suits someone who likes detail, teamwork, and varied work. You’ll help make sure the right information gets to the right people at the right time, from the start of a renewal through to final cover. How you'll make an impact You’ll support the full placement process, starting well before renewal. That means helping review wording, gathering data, preparing submission packs, and making sure the right checks are done before anything goes to market. You’ll also help with new client set-up, market approvals, and onboarding steps so each placement starts well. As a placement goes live, you’ll track quotes, update progress, and keep the paperwork moving. You’ll help prepare cover emails, manage subjectivities and exclusions, and make sure signed documents are issued on time. After placement, you’ll keep track of any follow up items, help with endorsements, and support final cover documents. You’ll also get involved in wider teamwork, like RFPs, client presentations, market research, data work, and meeting support. About You Typically requires a University Degree and 0 – 1 year prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience. Experience in reinsurance, insurance, brokerage, underwriting, or a related support role is a plus. The ability to manage several tasks and deadlines at once. A careful eye for detail when reviewing wording, documents, and data. A clear and practical way of working with brokers, clients, markets, and internal teams. Confidence using systems and spreadsheets to keep work organized. A helpful, team-focused approach and a willingness to learn. Comfort with compliance steps and process checks. Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
