Job Description
How You’ll Contribute:
The Engagement Manager is responsible for leading client engagements from pre-sales through delivery, ensuring high-quality consulting services that drive client success. This role operates as a hybrid position, combining engagement delivery with commercial pre-sales support—partnering with Sales, Proposal Management, and cross-functional teams to develop winning proposals and ensure seamless execution from pursuit through project completion.

What You’ll Do:
1. Engagement Delivery & Client Management
- Lead end-to-end Advisory Services engagements from discovery through final deliverables - Serve as a primary client interface, building strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction - Facilitate discovery sessions, gather requirements, and develop client-ready deliverables and narratives - Manage timelines, milestones, risks, and overall engagement health - Ensure delivery quality, alignment to scope, and adherence to budget and objectives
2. Hybrid Pre-Sales & Proposal Enablement
- Support development of proposals, SOWs, and executive summaries aligned to client needs and Advisory offerings - Contribute to RFP, RFI, and RFQ responses, ensuring alignment across technical, commercial, and delivery inputs - Partner with Proposal Managers to shape narrative and ensure compliant, high-quality submissions - Collaborate with Sales Coordinators on opportunity intake, documentation, and workflow coordination - Work with Account Executives to translate client requirements into actionable engagement strategies - Facilitate internal kickoff and review processes to align stakeholders prior to submission - Validate scope, assumptions, and resource plans to ensure proposals are accurate and achievable
3. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate across Sales, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and PMO - Align stakeholders on scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources - Ensure consistent communication and accountability
4. Planning, Resourcing & Execution
- Develop and maintain project plans and schedules - Coordinate resources to meet engagement objectives - Monitor progress and manage risks effectively
5. Business Development Support
- Support Sales in advancing opportunities and expanding accounts - Contribute to proposal strategy and solution positioning - Identify follow-on work opportunities
What You’ll Bring:
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred) - 5+ years of experience in consulting, client services, or engagement management - Experience supporting proposals or pre-sales processes - Strong project management and communication skills
