Position Overview
The Senior Product Owner – Consumer and Small Business Lending Product will play a key role in defining, delivering and evolving a portfolio of bank lending products in support of the consumer and small business customer segments. This individual engages with various departments across, and at all levels, of the organization within Retail, Community Banking, Business Banking, Marketing, Loan Operations, IT, Finance, Legal, Risk, Audit, Compliance, and Fraud in managing the lending product portfolio. Duties include defining market opportunities via market research and analysis, developing pricing and go-to-market strategies, monitoring lending product performance, and executing product enhancements across both branch and digital channels in managing the product lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
Product Strategy and Roadmap Development: Conduct market research and analysis to proactively identify product design opportunities, close competitive gaps, and understand competitive trends. Set strategic direction of multiple products by defining and communicating the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall customer needs, segment strategies, and bank financial targets.
Product Implementation: Partner with Segment Leadership, Finance, Consumer Lending Sales and Support Manager, Community Banking Lending Center Manager, Peer Lending Product Leadership, Marketing, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and IT to drive continuous product enhancement and successful launches, ensuring customer needs are met. Lead change management plans for sales strategies, training, and delivery processes in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Segment, and Digital Product teams.
Product Management and Administration: Establish KPIs / KRIs to monitor and address product adoption, profitability, and risk. Drive response to requests from Audit, Risk, Compliance, Legal and other monitoring bodies related to products under management. Leads remediation of product issues and opportunities for improvement, acting as quarterback with partner teams including Loan Operations, Branch Administration, Credit, and Fraud.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience with product management and end-to-end product delivery.
Strong understanding of consumer and small business lending products – product structures, pricing methodologies, go-to-market strategies, and regulatory considerations.
Experience with core banking platforms (FIS IBS and CLS experience preferred), and working with related lending platforms in a product, process, or technical function.
Experience with business case development, presentation and approval processes including building a budget and securing project funding.
Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI, with the demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data and market research.
Exceptional leadership, service, business analysis, and organizational skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power Point.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical people.

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $98,000-$132,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
