What this Job Entails:
The Project & Program Management Director is responsible for driving initiatives to grow business, and managing ongoing operations to sustain and scale regional operations. The role will act as the hub for cross-functional internal and external partners, spanning sales, program management, finance, legal, and suppliers. Someone in this role must both be analytical and have great relationship-building skills, as well as able to manage competing priorities in a rapidly growing business.
Scope:
Directs and controls the activities of a broad functional area through department managers within the company.
Works with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives.
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth company knowledge.
Your Roles and Responsibilities:
Oversees multiple, cross-functional and technical projects.
Develop and drive project plans across internal and external card partner teams. Partner with regional leads to prioritize regional initiatives.
Manage sales and operations planning cadence, and develop forecasts for downstream partners.
Lead and support transformation projects to improve operations and expand current capabilities with partners.
Seek strategic insight/feedback from the acquisition and retention teams as it relates to special projects and areas of operation.
Develop strong connections with various stakeholders to connect information that will facilitate alignment on objectives and timelines, ensuring project objectives are met.
Identify and resolve issues and risks associated with assigned projects and proactively communicate with leadership on project status.
Oversees a large and complex portion of the organization

Required Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 10+ years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Builds and strengthens relationships with executives and/or major customers.
Experience with analyzing information and data to make decisions.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Experience in being a self-starter and self-motivated efforts without the need for daily direction.
Ability to lead by influence versus role authority.
Demonstrates project/program management and analytical skills with the ability to identify and understand complex problems, make decisions, create plans and solutions, and take action.
Possesses strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with adaptability to work with people from various cultures and areas of the business; builds and maintains highly effective working relationships; has a comprehensive and well-developed network.
Proven track record for problem solving, showcasing success using different skill sets.
Strong attention to detail and ability to ruthlessly prioritize projects/tracks of work.
Must have a solution oriented mentality.
