POSITION: Housekeeping Manager
DEPARTMENT: Operations
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations

Summary
At Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Housekeeping Manager for Legends Global/Salt Palace Convention Center. Under the guidance of the Director of Operations, the Housekeeping Manager has a key leadership role in overseeing all administrative tasks for the support and operational needs of the housekeeping department. This consists of scheduling, payroll, onboarding and offboarding, succession planning, training, and oversight of disciplinary measures for the team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create and manage department scheduling needs to work around PTO requests, sick leave, and the needs of the events in-house on a weekly basis.
Manage daily adjustments to the time clock for individual staff based on attendance and event needs.
Track a report of attendance occurrence for staff with poor attendance and manage disciplinary actions accordingly.
Support and assist the Payroll Manager with any payroll needs or adjustments for the department.
Ensure facility and events are in “show ready condition” through training and oversight of shift Supervisors.
Ensure all facility equipment is being stored and maintained properly on all shifts.
Partnering with the HR Recruiter, will oversee all interviews and new hires for the department and ensure they are provided with onboard training and assistance to set all new hires up for success.
Ensure all billing is done and submitted to finance within 3 days of show ending.
Collaborate closely with event management and finance.
Work closely with Staffing agency to Schedule temp labor based on show needs.
Input, Assign and oversee work orders and ensure staff complete work orders in a timely manner for Housekeeping while working alongside the Dispatcher Manager to ensure proper billing gets input in Momentus system.
Maintain entire facility Housekeeping functions during shift
Proper transport, handle, and store equipment and chemicals used for housekeeping per Legends Global standards and SDS sheets.
Operate and distribute housekeeping machinery
Conduct continued on-the-job training for new employees, current Supervisors, and current staff to ensure succession planning for future promotions within the department.
Partnering with HR, administering progressive disciplinary actions, including counseling, documentation of incidents, and up to the dismissal of employees.
Keep the facility in customer-ready (presentable) condition.
Take inventory, analyze, and make recommendations for capital expenditures and/or improvements to the facility.
Purchase and maintain an inventory of supplies for the department.
Perform other duties or special projects as needed.
Experience & Knowledge
At least three (3) years of labor management preferred.
Mechanical experience and capability preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Good communication, phone, and customer service skills required.
Ability to read blueprints, sketch diagrams, and CAD drawings preferred.
Basic computer skills and efficiency in Microsoft Office required.
Experience in Workday and ABI preferred.
Good leadership and communication skills required.
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, In-Office
Salary: $55,000-$61,000 annual salary
Schedule: As needed based on event scheduling, Weekend and Holiday Availability Required, work might be assigned as needed at Mountain America Expo Center
