Axel is a tech-powered dispatch service building the next generation of freight operations. We’re looking for an expert-level dispatcher to join our growing team. If you’ve got years of experience working with fleets, know load boards like the back of your hand, and can handle broker calls in your sleep — we want to hear from you.

Role:

Start Date: Mid-July

Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/week)

Location: Remote (U.S.-based only)

Pay: $5,500–$6,500/month depending on experience

Type: Contract-to-hire

What We're Looking For:

3+ years dispatching experience (preferably for 20+ truck fleets)

Mastery of load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.)
Strong broker relationships + negotiation skills
Comfortable using digital tools (TMS, spreadsheets, etc.)
Clear communicator, responsive, and detail-oriented
You know what to do — you don’t need handholding

What You’ll Do:

Book loads for live drivers using our internal tool
Evaluate loads, negotiate rates, confirm bookings
Provide feedback to improve the product
Be a human-in-the-loop: your judgment matters
