Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Coordinator, Athletics Communication. Boca Raton, FL.
This position serves as the primary media contact for Men's Basketball, Women's Soccer, Track & Field, and Cross Country, playing a key role in promoting the achievements of our student-athletes, coaches, and programs.
Summary of responsibilities:
Coordinate media appearances for assigned sports coaching staff and players and supervise all media personnel working at Florida Atlantic University athletic home events.
Travel to away contests and coordinate media appearances for coaching staff and players while on the road
Maintain the statistical archives and records for all assigned sports.
Work with the external arm of the athletics department, in conjunction with the respective sports’ coaching staffs, to create and distribute engaging social media content across multiple platforms
Produce news releases and feature content for the FAU athletics website.
Maintain the photo database for all external team members to use efficiently
Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
Oversee the scheduling of student assistants at home events for assigned sports.
Complete other departmental job-related tasks as assigned by the Deputy AD/Brand & Communications.

Minimum Qualifications:
A master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.Salary:
