The business incubation and development role will be to nurture and grow existing client relationships as well as acquire new business with an emphasis on lead generation to build out the pipeline of work across APAC.
Role and Responsibilities:
Develop and originate relationships with new clients with an emphasis on corporate sustainability advisory to achieve revenue targets in Singapore and more broadly Asia-Pacific
Compose high quality proposals that address the needs of potential clients that also illustrate my client’s methodology and credentials
Successfully negotiate and conclude commercial agreements with clients and partners
Co-ordinate and execute the delivery of client sustainability projects
Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop and execute strategies that are conducive to ensuring integrated sales and originating new business
The ideal candidate will have:
A degree in Engineering, Environmental Studies, or related field
10+ years of relevant experience working in a corporate or consultancy capacity across energy, climate change or resource management sectors
A deep understanding of corporate sustainability and experience working with commercial entities in their transition to lower carbon emissions
A demonstrated track record of business development with an emphasis on originating new business through strong negotiation and relationship skills
Ability to liaise and manage relationships with senior clients across sustainability, property, business strategy and operations
