Job Title: Business Analyst with Fannie or Freddie Mac exp MUST
Location: Mclean VA (Locals and nearby)
Duration: 7 months+,
Securities Operations Research Analytics and Development (SORAD) is the change management team within Securities Operations. SORAD manages the departmental change management processes and ensures that Securities Operations is functioning effectively and efficiently.
The Operations Change Management Business Analyst Senior CW role will work with SORAD to help coordinate and assist in the development of the new Credit Risk Transfer Platform (CRT) for the Securitization work stream.
Responsibilities Include:
• Understand broad strategy and functionality needs of the CRT platform
• Provide guidance and act as a representative for the CRT Securitization build-out
• Assist with development of high level business requirement document
• Assist with creation of business process flows, data mapping and analysis
• Ensure requirements and business process flows are in alignment with upstream/downstream consumers
• Identify gaps in requirements and processes, recommend solutions
• Participate in formal change management process(s) for scope and requirements
• Understand Agile methodology and participate in sprint development
• Participate in product acceptance testing
• Assist with creation of Service Level Agreements for the new Systems
• Assist with creation of operational readiness, production support and governance procedures
• Assist with developing and maintaining project plans
*Basic Requirements
• 5 plus years of experience
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
• Solid knowledge of testing methodologies including Waterfall and Agile
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills
• Candidate must be self-motivated, proactive, and have excellent organization and planning skills
• Analyzed, validated, and prioritized business requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to manage tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae experience
• Contractor should be familiar with GSE/Mortgage industry data standards (e.g. MISMO).
