About the role
We are looking for a Sourcing Logistics – Senior Consultant to drive and execute sourcing initiatives across airport ground service equipment and logistics categories.
You will support the end-to-end lifecycle management of high loaders, trucks, trailers, and related fleet solutions, contributing to sourcing strategy execution, supplier management, and cost optimization initiatives.
This role is ideal for candidates with sourcing, logistics procurement, or fleet-related experience who are ready to take ownership of sourcing execution and stakeholder delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive execution of regional sourcing projects for airport ground equipment and logistics services
- Contribute actively to sourcing strategy development and ensure effective implementation across:
- Road transport (linehaul, distribution, airport transfers)
- Air freight and courier services
- Time-critical logistics solutions
- Specialized warehousing (frozen, chilled, ambient)
- Perform detailed spend analysis to identify saving opportunities and support data-driven decisions
- Execute sourcing events (RFI, RFP, negotiations, eAuctions) with increasing ownership
- Manage day-to-day supplier interactions and contribute to performance management frameworks
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (operations, engineering, safety, finance) to ensure alignment and delivery
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and operational requirements
- Act as a reliable commercial partner, ensuring timely and effective sourcing delivery
Requirements
- University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in:
- Sourcing, procurement, or category management
- Logistics sourcing, fleet sourcing, or related areas
- Hands-on experience with RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, and supplier management
- Exposure to logistics operations (road transport, time-critical, air freight is a plus)
- Experience in aviation, FMCG, or operationally intensive industries is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid stakeholder communication and ability to operate in matrix environments
- Fluent in English
