Loan Sales & Trading is part of the Loan Syndicate, Sales & Trading team. It is the bank's face to the market for the distribution of syndicated loans. Through its constant interaction with investors (banks and NBFIs) the team insurers timely distribution (and sourcing) of loans in the primary and secondary markets and supports the Syndicate team's underwritings, the Portfolio Management activities and the Trading book's activities
About the job:
Assist with the preparation and delivery of Non Disclosure Agreements, deal documentation and other information to prospective investors either by email or e-data rooms, liaising with the legal, origination, compliance and portfolio departments as needed.
Registering primary, trading and secondary portfolio purchases and sales using the bank's accounting software.
Coordinate with the credit risk department to ensure that the bank has settlement limits with the investors with which we trade.
Coordinate the signing of relevant transfer documentation with the bank's and external loan closers team.
Ensure that investors are KYC-approved in the bank’s system and in its case, request the necessary documentation.
Assistance in credit research for the loans trading team from time to time Obtaining permission from external advisors to disclose due diligence reports related to our secondary sales activity.
Performing Bi-weekly CRM systems extract with market developments summary.
Together with other senior colleagues of the team, attending investors presentations, investors meetings and loan market events.
Any other ad-hoc tasks in support of the loan sales & trading team (i.e. end of year reports; trades and investor databases).
Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree with some demonstration of interest in Finance and mathematical capabilities.
Career focus in Finance ideally but open to more well balanced academic studies.
IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Fluency in English is a must, other languages (Spanish, French, German) would be a plus.
Proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, high-performance environment.
