Process Executive

Team: Central Reconciliations                                                                                Reports to: Team Leader

Role

To carry out a range of assigned clerical / support duties in accordance with predetermined procedures and service standards under appropriate guidance and direction.

Business Function

Equiniti is a leading provider of technology and solutions for complex and regulated administration and payments.  Our technology platforms are used by 70% of the FTSE 100, Government and other large corporates, particularly in banking, insurance and other financial services. EQ India Operations team works closely with the EQ Group functions across UK, US and Amsterdam to provide operations support to Shareholder Solutions, Pensions Solutions, Investment Services, Employee Benefit Solutions, KYC Operations, Customer Experience Centre, Reconciliations, and Innovation. This service is delivered from our offices in India based out of Chennai and Bangalore.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide day to day oversight and control ownership
  • Support training and knowledge transfer from US teams
  • Act as escalation points and quality control leads
  • Be client / stakeholder facing where required
  • Perform accurate and timely clerical and administrative tasks to support daily cash, position, and account reconciliation processes in accordance with U.S regulatory and internal control standards.
  • Manage routine reconciliation‑related inquiries and escalate exceptions or complex issues to senior team members or management as appropriate.
  • Contribute effectively to the team’s reconciliation workload, ensuring all assigned reconciliations meet established deadlines, quality benchmarks, and audit requirements.
  • Continuously expand operational knowledge of U.S. reconciliation practices, identifying opportunities to enhance process efficiency, accuracy and control effectiveness.
  • Complete additional reconciliation‑related duties of similar scope as needed to support business operations and regulatory obligations.
  • Be flexible with the shift timings.
  • Maintain full compliance with internal policies, documented procedures and applicable U.S. regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC, FINRA, SOX) when managing client and firm accounts.
  • Adhere strictly to established security, confidentiality and data‑quality standards to safeguard sensitive financial information and ensure reconciliation integrity.
  • Uphold high ethical standards and follow all physical and information‑security protocols when handling financial data and reconciliation records.
