Job Description
- Establish, discuss, and renew music licensing agreements with music labels in Japan, ensuring oversight of payment schedules, business generation criteria, and contractual obligations.
- Drive partner engagement and relationship management by tracking metrics, building forecasts, and ensuring brand reputation, while serving as the primary commercial point of contact and trusted advisor for their YouTube business.
- Leverage the YouTube product roadmap to prioritize new business opportunities, resolve partner issues, and advocate for partner needs internally to enhance performance and user experience.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Legal departments to synchronize resources for effective go-to-market execution and long-term partner strategies.
- Engage with executive leadership to foster sustainable partnerships, bridging internal organizational goals with external industry trends to capture new brand and music opportunities.
