JOB TYPE:

ABOUT YOU:
This position entails utilizing the Accounts Receivable (A/R) computer system to update transactions and respond to incoming inquiries from customers concerning their accounts. The role requires the referral of any issues to collections professionals. The incumbent is accountable for providing precise and timely assistance regarding account balance information for high schools, colleges, universities, and similar institutions.
YOU WILL:
- Support. Assist with collection letters and with other collection activities, as well as send invoices, statements, and correspondence to customers.
- Update. Adjusting and maintaining account balance information, including refunds, CAAAs, file maintenance, back ledgering, and initiating adjustments within guidelines.
- Verify. Pull documentation of cash received to assist with verification.
- Advise & Guide. Answer phone calls from customers.
- Assess. Review correspondence and returned mail, and distribute mail within the department.
YOU HAVE:
- Technical Skills. Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices. Working knowledge of p.c. Preferred Oracle knowledge.
- Attention to Detail. Ability to analyze and organize information with a high degree of accuracy.
- Great Communication Skills. Strong oral communication and active listening skills. Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience. Previous phone experience helpful.
- Education. High school diploma or equivalent.

Our Finance team combines traditional financial planning, analysis, and accounting with collaborative business decision-making and strategy, directly supporting leadership in Marketing, Sales, Digital & Operations. Team members are expected to analyze data and provide recommendations across our specialized product lines, including Yearbooks, Class Rings, Graduation Products, and Professional Sports. Through the utilization of best-in-class technical software, such as Tableau, SAP BPC, Oracle, Salesforce, & the Microsoft Suite, you will get to play a critical role in determining financial solutions that steer our business.
