Crisis Clinician II (.9 FTE/Weekends)
Job Description
The Franciscan Health Crisis Clinician I (CCI) is a position responsible for completing a biopsychosocial assessment, to provide a diagnostic impression to the on-call psychiatrist or physician. The CCI will require a working knowledge of diagnostic criteria, as provided through their master level education, within behavioral healthcare for all age groups, pediatric to geriatric. In some instances, assessments may require a licensed clinician's approval. The CCI will be the main source for coordination of care with referral sources, Emergency Department, admitting unit, and the patient's families.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Working hours options: Fri, Sat and Sun 5pmto 5:30am or Sat, Sun and Mon 5pm to 5:30am.
- Position is in-person and not remote.
- Assist in the execution and completion of Emergency Detention Orders.
- Obtain and document an accurate psychosocial assessment in the electronic record, while simultaneously informing the psychiatrist on-call or physician with information pertinent to the safety and health of all involved.
- Implement patient dispositions, as ordered.
- Complete paperwork and forms, including pre-authorization for admission.
- Answer telephones and return voicemails in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Required Master's Degree in Social Work Mental Health Counseling or Marriage & Family
- Required 2 years Social Services, Counseling
- Required Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
