
Mental Health Outreach and Education Coordinator for the Asian Pacific Islander Community, Breaking Down Barriers
Job Description
The Outreach Coordinator supports the County-funded Breaking Down Barriers program by conducting outreach and engagement activities throughout San Diego County, with a focus on the Asian/Pacific Islander (API) community. This role develops and delivers culturally responsive mental health workshops and cultural humility trainings, facilitates community feedback sessions, and helps reduce mental health stigma while promoting awareness of County Behavioral Health Services. Through community events, presentations, and relationship-building efforts, the Outreach Coordinator connects residents to local resources and gathers feedback to advance behavioral health equity and improve services for underserved populations.
