Assistant Unit Director - Pediatric ICU - Evening/Night Shift

The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a 20-bed high acuity unit serving the immediate Bay area community and beyond. The PICU provides extraordinary high-level care for children who require continuous monitoring. The PICU serves both infants and children suffering from a variety of conditions, often requiring specialty care or recovering from surgery. The most common diagnoses seen in the PICU include conditions requiring neurological intervention, complications from respiratory conditions, and management of oncological and transplant related conditions. The PICU team consists of roughly 100+ nurses, unit support staff including Patient Care Assistants and Unit Secretaries and collaborates with our provider team and crucial ancillary departments to serve a highly critical patient population.
