Job Description
Position Summary
The Production Operator I will report directly to the Shift Leader and is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks to assist with operations in production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Packaging 10 - 50 lb. bags of bulk product via saddle to pallet as well as filling 3000 lb. super sacks
Cleaning of the warehouse and equipment as required
Daily maintenance of equipment
Calls specialists when more serious problems occur
Tracks various data associated with production equipment
Reports any inconsistencies and uses standard repair procedures
Work in compliance with company safety and operating procedures
Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
Good communication and basic math skills
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Previous experience in a production/manufacturing setting
Capable of working in a team and independently
Capable of following a production report while working independently
