
AVP, Cyber/Technology E&O
Job Description
Job Objectives:
Underwrite both new and renewal Cyber, technology errors and omissions, privacy/security liability and miscellaneous E&O insurance business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze, evaluate and underwrite Cyber liability risks
- Analyze, evaluate and underwrite errors and omissions for Technology risks
- Develop and manage broker relationships
- Analyze potential clients and present evaluations at daily group discussions
- Assist group in meeting monthly and annual production goals
- Attend appropriate training sessions and conferences when deemed appropriate
- Assist with special projects as needed under supervision of management
- Responsible for developing new business production and broker relationships
- Maintain existing broker relationships within assigned region
- Manage more junior underwriters, as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 year(s) of insurance industry experience required
- Minimum of 5 years Cyber insurance experience required
- Bachelor’s degree
- Management experience preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
- Excellent marketing, negotiating and communication skills
- Strong technical and marketing expertise
- General computer and office suite skills
- Willingness to travel
