Integrated into the Professional Services department and under the supervision of an Proserv Team Manager, the overall responsibility of a Senior Consultant is to support our on-prem SAP customers.
Provide application support consultancy through advice, guidance, and appropriate technical activities
Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of SAP HCM solutions aligned with business requirements
Manage complex tickets/ project/change requests
Translate HR business requirements into functional specifications and technical designs
Conduct workshops, process mapping, and solution validation with business stakeholders
Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and cutover activities
Provide post-go-live support, issue analysis, and continuous improvement recommendations
Operate required system tests using either provided or self generated test data, to ensure the applications/developments meet the agreed specifications
Provide documentation (both technical and functional) on issues handled
Manage personal daily priorities and assigned tickets, and ensure that his deadlines are met. Regularly report on status and progress to the Proserv Team Manager
Maintain internal and external contact and communication channels at appropriate level. Communicate status, resolution, and root cause of assigned issues
Understand the general flows in HR and the SAP HR architecture
Collaboration with colleagues in Strada Luxembourg to balance workload between GRX and LU.
Identify improvement points/automations.
What we ask for:
Bachelor or Master degree with a Business or Technical emphasis, or equivalent
Solid verbal and written communication skills in French & English
Good knowledge in SAP HCM application for
Personnel Administration (PA)
Organizational Management (OM)
Time Management (TM)
Payroll (PY)
Authorisations (HR Roles and PFCG)
Infotypes and HCM Master Data
Excellent knowledge in SAP Fiori & UI Technologies
SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration
SAPUI5 (MVC, XML Views, Controllers)
OData services (standard & custom)
Fiori Elements
Responsive UX design
SAP Web IDE / Business Application Studio
Excellent Technical Skills
ABAP & ABAP OO (HCM context)
Enhancements (BAdIs, User Exits)
CDS Views (HCM-related)
Integration with SAP Gateway
Debugging HCM, OData & UI5 applications
Good knowledge in Security & Compliance
Authorization concepts in HCM & Fiori
GDPR awareness (EU context)
Role-based access design
Strong interest in delivering high quality support in the field of Human Resource
Ability to multi-task, to work in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment, and to consistently achieve quality standards
Service-oriented with a strong client focus and sense of accountability
Experience with projects implementation is a plus
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Discretion and ability to respect the confidentiality of information
ECP/HCM Certifications are a plus
Abap certification is a plus
