Locum Dentist – HighGate Dental | Burnaby, BC
HighGate Dental is seeking a Locum Associate Dentist to support our established team from September 9 to October 5, 2026.
Located in the heart of Highgate Village, our practice has been serving the Burnaby community for more than 30 years and offers a busy schedule, loyal patient base, and a collaborative clinical environment.
Schedule
Locum coverage is required for two overlapping schedules:
September 9 to September 20, 2026
- Tuesdays & Thursdays: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Wednesdays & Fridays: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Saturdays: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Additional coverage required: September 18 to October 5, 2026
- Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Clinical Scope
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive general dentistry, including examinations, restorative treatment, emergency care, and treatment planning. The practice offers a diverse patient base and a consistent flow of patients, allowing for a productive and rewarding locum experience.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a dentist who is:
- Licensed and in good standing with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals
- Comfortable providing comprehensive general dentistry
- Patient-focused with strong communication skills
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- Reliable, professional, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care

About You:
- Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
- Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
- Valid CPR certification
