Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Develop and execute mainline media plans across channels such as TV, Print, Radio, Cinema, and Outdoor (OOH) Understand client business objectives and translate them into effective media strategies and recommendations Conduct market, audience, and competitor analysis to support planning decisions Work closely with buying, activation, strategy, and client servicing teams for campaign execution and delivery Prepare media plans, rationale documents, flowcharts, and post-campaign analyses Manage media budgets, scheduling, release planning, and performance tracking Coordinate with media owners/vendors for proposals, negotiations, and campaign requirements Lead client discussions and present media strategies, campaign plans, and performance updates Mentor and guide junior team members within the planning team Stay updated on media consumption trends, market insights, and industry developments Qualifications Eligibility Criteria 4–7 years of relevant experience in Mainline / Traditional Media Planning Prior agency experience preferred Strong understanding of media planning principles across offline/traditional channels Required Skills Strong knowledge of: TV Planning Print Planning Radio & OOH media planning Media research and audience measurement tools Proficiency in media planning tools/software (e.g., BARC, IRS, TAM, RAM where applicable) Strong analytical and presentation skills Excellent stakeholder and client management abilities Ability to manage multiple brands and campaigns simultaneously Strong communication and collaboration skills Good to Have Experience handling FMCG, retail, telecom, or large consumer brands Exposure to integrated media planning across offline and digital channels Understanding of media buying and negotiation processes
