Essentia Health is seeking a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to support our Family Practice team across multiple clinics within the Twin Ports area. This position is focused on in-basket management, patient communication, direct patient care tasks as assigned, clinical support for providers and care teams in the ambulatory setting.Education Qualifications:

Certification/Licensure Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in appropriate state, i.e. Minnesota, Wisconsin, OR current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR Verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. (Must pass certification within two attempts)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified, or able to obtain within 3 months. (Department 46680 – Registry Management Team: BCLS certification is not required)
- This role is an Inbasket Management Position.
- There will be travel expected for this position.
- There is a potential flexibility for a hybrid setting.
- The hours will be 08:00am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday no holiday no weekends
