
Information Security Expert - Awareness
Job Description
The role contributes to strengthening the security culture across Allianz Services and ensuring alignment with Allianz Group requirements, regulatory expectations, and internal standards. The Information Security Expert supports governance activities, awareness initiatives, reporting, and risk-related assessments, and collaborates closely with global and local Information Security stakeholders and partnered service lines.
This position operates in a dynamic environment where priorities may evolve and responsibilities may expand across governance, risk, compliance, and awareness domains.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Allianz Services Information Security Framework.
- Contribute to the development, coordination and execution of Information Security awareness initiatives and communication activities.
- Support the planning, coordination and execution of awareness campaigns, training activities and related reporting.
- Maintain and enhance internal Information Security documentation and collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint pages).
- Contribute to governance reporting for relevant committees and management forums (e.g., status updates, KPI tracking, dashboards).
- Support risk assessments for services, projects, suppliers and organizational units in line with internal guidelines.
- Assist in tracking findings and remediation measures resulting from risk assessments, internal reviews or audits.
- Collaborate with global and local Information Security stakeholders to ensure consistent application of security requirements.
- Actively participate in Information Security communities, calls and cross-functional initiatives.
- Identify improvement opportunities within processes and contribute to their implementation.
- Report and escalate security-related matters where appropriate
- 3 - 5 years of experience in the Information Security, governance, risk, IT or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Information Security Management Systems and relevant industry standards, in particular ISO 27001.
- Solid understanding of Information Security, IT Security and related processes.
- Familiarity with COBIT Control Objectives.
- Skilled in personal networking and communication.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills. Experience in preparing reports, presentations and management materials.
- Structured, proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work with stakeholders across functions and geographies.
