Exciting Opportunity: Join Ali & Sons as a Cashier
Are you detail-oriented, trustworthy, and experienced in handling financial transactions with accuracy and professionalism?
Join the Ali & Sons Group as a Cashier, where you’ll play a vital role in managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the smooth operation of our showroom and workshop activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare tax invoices and receipt vouchers upon confirmation of payments through cash, card, smart pay, or other payment methods.
• Collect customer payments, process cheques for bank deposits, and ensure accurate transaction posting in the accounting system.
• Prepare daily cash collection reports and reconcile cash, credit card payments, and receipt vouchers.
• Manage cash deposits through the cash deposit machine within designated timelines.
• Issue receipts, provide change to customers, and obtain signatures on receipt vouchers as required.
• Process payments for daily showroom and workshop expenses and accurately record transactions.
• Prepare and manage petty cash reimbursements while maintaining complete and accurate records.
• Reconcile petty cash statements and ensure sufficient cash availability for branch operational expenses.
• Maintain and reconcile cash drawer balances and supporting documentation for cash sales.
• Coordinate with Head Office Accounts to ensure timely updates and corrections of cash and bank transaction records.
• Prepare and submit documentation related to sales deals, insurance debit/credit notes, and other financial records.
• Scan and upload supporting documents for verification, compliance, and audit purposes.
• Ensure adherence to company cash-handling policies and procedures to minimize financial risks and errors.
• Support statutory and internal audits by providing required documentation and information.
• Assist the Accountant, Senior Accountant, and Chief Accountant with additional duties as assigned.
Role Purpose:
To ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintain compliance with company financial procedures, and support smooth showroom and workshop operations through effective cash management and reporting.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar cashiering, accounting, or financial administration role.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Commerce, or a related field.
• Languages: Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is an added advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and computerized accounting systems.
• Key Competencies: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, accuracy, integrity, and excellent communication abilities.
