UNICEF is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Education Specialist (Gender Equity) to advance gender equality in and through education globally. Based within the Global Programme Division and working closely with the United Nations Girls’ Education Initiative (UNGEI), this role plays a critical part in shaping global policy, strengthening education systems, and delivering impactful programmes that support girls and marginalized learners.The position leads strategic initiatives, provides high-level technical assistance, and engages with governments, partners, and global stakeholders to promote gender-transformative approaches in education. This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic professional with strong expertise in gender and education to contribute to global solutions, influence policy agendas, and drive sustainable change in line with UNICEF’s mission and the Sustainable Development Goals.
