Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
Set up and lead the regional MCR organisation, including engineers, licensed personnel, and technicians.
Provide supervision, coaching, performance monitoring, and competency development for all MCR personnel.
Self-Perform Strategy
Develop, implement, and continuously improve the regional self-perform maintenance strategy for mechanical and electrical systems.
Track progress and ensure alignment with operational standards and business goals.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support
Lead and support troubleshooting efforts for major M&E issues across regional data centres.
Provide escalation support to site DCO teams, ensuring fast recovery and minimising downtime.
Emergency Response Governance
Develop and implement regional emergency response procedures for the MCR team.
Coordinate cross-functional teams during incidents to mitigate risk and ensure rapid stabilisation.
Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
Work closely with internal teams (DCO, Engineering, Reliability, Projects, HSE) and external vendors/OEMs.
Share best practices, technical insights, and training materials to enhance regional capability.
Regional Expansion & Readiness
Lead the deployment of MCR capabilities into new markets based on operational needs.
Support new site readiness and ensure MCR processes are standardised across all regions.
