General Atomics Survivability group has an exciting position available for a Survivability Engineer to support design the design and integration of LO systems across a variety of platforms.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Familiarity with various antennas and apertures relevant to DoD vehicles.
  • Work with GA-ASI Mission Systems team to develop RCS requirements for antennas and apertures within GA-ASI platforms.
  • Utilize industry standard tools for the prediction of RF properties integration of various antennas and apertures into GA-ASI designs. Suggest design changes based on these predictions to meet program objectives.
  • Participate in the design and fabrication of measurement and test articles (“fixtures”, “pole models”) for validation of survivable designs.
  • Serve as Survivability technical representative for both customer and vendor engagements. Ensure designs and integration schemes meet program requirements.
  • Provide program planning and technical leadership to IRAD and CRAD projects targeting development and implementation of Survivability technologies.
  • Ensure compliance, reporting, and safety standards are maintained. Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
  • Observe all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
