Senior Safety and Automation Systems (SAS) Engineer
Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Senior Safety and Automation Systems (SAS) Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Asker, where you will be responsible for delivering engineering and lifecycle services focused on industrial automation and Safety and Automation Systems (SAS), including modification, maintenance, migration, and commissioning support. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office and 2 days working from home/remotely.

- Deliver SAS engineering services in line with customer requirements, Honeywell standards, and project objectives.
- Execute lifecycle activities across all project phases, from planning and engineering through to commissioning and handover.
- Prepare, manage, and maintain technical documentation and lifecycle information deliverables.
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders (Equinor) and internal teams to ensure high-quality delivery and effective communication.
- Support commissioning, system handover, and close-out activities, including punch list resolution and as-built documentation.
- Strong experience with Safety and Automation Systems (SAS), industrial automation, or control/safety systems (ideally in the energy sector).
- Knowledge of Equinor tools and processes (e.g., PD03, ProCoSys, SAP) or similar project frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-focused approach with language skills in both English and Norwegian.
- Structured, proactive mindset with a strong focus on quality, documentation, and delivery excellence.
- Experience working across project phases, including commissioning, handover, and lifecycle support activities.
