Warehouse Coordinator – Wilkes Barre, PA
Shift: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm
Tarkett Sports is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to support operations at our Recycling Facility in Wilkes Barre, PA. This role oversees shipping and receiving coordination, sales administration, and warehouse inventory while serving as a key liaison between project managers, vendors, customers, and internal teams. The position also supports facility operations and acts as the on-site safety liaison. The role also supports safety initiatives, freight coordination, inventory control, and overall operational efficiency within a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations, including scheduling pickups and deliveries
Manage freight quotes, transportation logistics, and communication with carriers and brokers
Maintain accurate shipping documentation, ERP transactions, inventory records, and reporting
Support Project Managers by quoting recycling services and tracking project timelines
Oversee warehouse inventory counts and consumable supplies
Create purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, vendors, and customer records within the ERP system
Respond promptly to customer and vendor inquiries while maintaining strong business relationships
Assist with general warehouse operations, including forklift operation and loading/unloading trucks as needed
Serve as the on-site Safety Liaison with the external safety team
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems preferred
Customer service and logistics/warehouse experience preferred
Forklift experience required
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
Willingness to work both in the office and on the warehouse floor as needed
Work Environment:
This role is based fully onsite in Wilkes-Barre, PA and includes a combination of office, warehouse, and outdoor work. Candidates must be comfortable working in varying temperatures and using standard warehouse PPE and equipment.
