Overview The Account Manager independently manages a complex book of business, leading renewals, client service delivery, and carrier negotiations. This role combines strong technical expertise with strategic advisory support, partnering closely with Producers to deliver tailored risk solutions and drive client retention and growth. This Vancouver-based role requires experience with multinational and complex accounts, particularly in real estate, hospitality, and construction. How you'll make an impact Conduct coverage reviews and analysis for new and existing business, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities Identify and support revenue growth across the portfolio, including cross-selling and new business initiatives Lead or support client meetings, delivering strategic recommendations and market insights Manage the end-to-end renewal process, including marketing and carrier negotiations Provide strategic risk and coverage advice, clearly identifying exposures and solutions Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive, high-quality service Delegate workflow and provide guidance to junior team members Collaborate with internal specialists and carriers to optimize client outcomes Act as a trusted advisor to clients and a key resource to the broader service team About you 7+ years of commercial insurance experience in a client service role Active provincial insurance license required CAIB, CIP, CRM (completed or in progress) considered an asset University degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience Strong technical knowledge of complex commercial coverages and market dynamics Proven ability to manage client and insurer relationships, including marketing complex accounts Demonstrated leadership and mentorship capabilities Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work independently Highly organized with strong analytical and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing demands in a fast-paced environment Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement Strong team player, adaptable and collaborative Proficient in Microsoft Office and related technologies Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
