Facilities Technician II

Your Role on Our Team:
As part of the Maintenance team, you'll help create and maintain a safe and productive environment that ensure the successes that our employees and customers have grown to expect.
You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
- MUST obey all safety rules and procedures including LOTO, PPE requirements, and fall protection.
- Commitment to working other shifts or extended hours if needed, willing to answer after-hour calls, and help establish a world class maintenance team.
- Troubleshoot and repair facilities equipment in the distribution center.
- Understand and comply with proper use of PIT equipment, lifts, ladders, power and hand tools, and other required tools and equipment.
- Provides support for all departments in the distribution center to maintain productivity.
- Daily job responsibilities include:
- Oracle Workorder Management – CM & PM
- Grounds and General Building Upkeep
- Dock Door, Levelers, Seals, and Bumper Maintenance
- Painting/Sheetrock Repair
- Installing Signage/Labels/Decals
- Maintain Water/Air/Gas Systems
- Maintain Battery Changing Equipment, Chargers, and Batteries
- Operating Floor Scrubber and Misc Other Equipment
- General Construction/Assembly
- Basic Electrical Installation, Repair, and Maintenance – Low Voltage Systems – including Fire Suppression Systems
- Perform Rack Installation, Repair, and Demo
- Assist in repair of Conveyance, Sortation, and MHE Systems
- Escort, Monitor, Aid Contractors
- Maintain Accurate Parts Inventory
- Run Errands as Needed
- Other Related Duties as Assigned
The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience working in general construction, warehouse maintenance, or other related
- Good judgement, detail orientation, and independent decision-making skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:
- Experience with CMMS Systems and general computer skills using Word, Excel, and Teams/Email
Working Conditions:
Production
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, crouch, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds routinely, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and work at heights using lifts or elevated platforms.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions including heat, cold, dust, noise, and confined spaces.
- Manual dexterity required to operate tools, equipment, and controls safely and effectively on elevated surfaces.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including fall protection, safety shoes, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection.
