Description:

Performs ordered mammography examinations in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the radiologists.

Performs ordered mammography examinations in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the radiologists.  Maintains technical competency through continued education. Performs equipment quality checks and troubleshoots problems and calls for service and notifies all pertinent team members.  Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.  Enters patient’s questionnaire, release form, and all other paperwork into Epic.
