Job Description
The Cardiopulmonary Technician:
- Assists the anesthesia provider in caring for patients.
- Assists the anesthesia provider in preparing for complex cases such as open-heart surgery, valve replacements, pacer lead extractions, and liver and kidney transplants.
- Assembles equipment used for anesthesia related procedures, maintains anesthesia equipment, assists with operating room turn overs, and cleans/stocks operating rooms.

Qualifications
Education Requirements
- 2 year/Associate Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Associate Degree
- Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
Experience
- Relevant Experience
Certification and Licensure
- BLS Certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire date
- LPN or certification from Certified Anesthesia Technology Program
