
Program Manager (12-month contract), Event and Deals team- Japan
Job Description
Key job responsibilities
• Define core event objectives and support execution of strategic programs and operations.
• Collaborate with a team of diverse stakeholders (Operations, Delivery Experience, Retail, finance) to define experimentation roadmap and comprehensive list of key input metrics to achieve event goals
• Analyze performance data, customer metrics, and financial impact to inform event strategy and cross-functional planning.
• Build and maintain event playbooks, SOPs, and retrospective mechanisms to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify areas of risk to the project scope or timeline and escalate to program leadership in a timely manner.

JP Events and Deal mission is to delight customers by creating shopping Events with seasonal, socio-cultural and personal relevance, positioning Amazon as the best place for customers to shop and for selling
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze large sets of data
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
