Mechatronics Technician

Job Objective Analyzing the causes of defects and malfunctions on operating equipment Performing repairs, maintaining, servicing, improving and installing operating equipment Carrying out modification work on operating equipment Duties and Responsibilities A Analysis / Troubleshooting 1 Analyzing and diagnosing simple faults by means of diagnostic systems and specifying malfunction of operating equipment fitted with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components 2 Establishing and evaluating the current state of the individual components, identifying reasons for wear and tear B New Production / Changes 1 Carrying out dismantling, transportation and installation operations and putting into service complex operating equipment (new systems, conversions, relocations) at domestic and foreign production sites 2 Assisting with the production/modification of equipment in accordance with drawings, circuit diagrams and terminal diagrams and/or technical specifications 3 Participation in the development of processing stations and attachment of the electromechanical and electronic controllers 4 Supporting in creating control cabinets in accordance with the specifications 5 Evaluating production process quality and possibly modifying the relevant process parameters and user programs within permitted levels of intervention 6 Preparing additional and auxiliary equipment on the basis of workshops and complaints about optimizing manufacturing processes, taking ergonomic and quality-related aspects (drawings, sketches, verbal agreements) into account C Repairs, Maintenance, Inspection and Improvement 1 Replacement of faulty components, putting operating equipment into service and handing over to Production; Repairing of faulty components taking economic points of view into account 2 Producing spare parts according to drawings, sketches and prototypes 3 Coordinating maintenance, inspection, servicing and repair work on complex operating equipment in compliance with applicable regulations 4 Assisting in the preparation of measures to optimize maintenance, servicing and repair work (cycles, materials, expense), suggesting measures for operating equipment availability 5 Assisting in determining spare parts and materials used (quantity, quality) to guarantee the availability of operating equipment Job Profile / Requirements a) profession / education b) job related experience Professional education or special diploma up to 1 year
