V.Ships Leisure is looking for Barber on behalf of Orient Express Sailing Yachts.
The Guerlain Barber is a key ambassador of the House’s savoir-faire, delivering premium grooming services with excellence, precision, and discretion.

Combining technical expertise with an elevated sense of service, the Barber contributes to a refined, personalized guest experience aligned with Guerlain’s standards of luxury and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
1. Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- Deliver impeccable barbering services (shaving, beard design, grooming rituals)
- Provide a highly personalized and discreet client journey
- Anticipate guest expectations and create a memorable experience
Ensure compliance with Guerlain, Forbes and LQA service standards
2. Technical Expertise & Grooming Excellence

- Perform advanced grooming techniques (traditional shaving, beard sculpting, finishes)
- Maintain the highest hygiene and safety standards
- Ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery following Guerlain protocols
- Stay updated on grooming trends and innovations
- Additional hairdressing skills (women’s styling) are considered a strong asset; the Barber may occasionally support the Hair Salon team when required.
3. Integration within the Guerlain Spa Global Experience
- Integrate the barbering service within the global Spa journey
- Collaborate with Spa and Wellness teams to enhance guest flow and experience
- Contribute to the overall Spa positioning as a destination for luxury grooming
4. Retail & Product Prescription
- Recommend and prescribe grooming and fragrance products aligned with client needs
- Support retail performance through tailored prescriptions
- Embody Guerlain’s philosophy: retail as an extension of the experience
5. Brand Ambassador
- Represent Guerlain’s heritage, values, and image at all times
- Ensure impeccable grooming, posture, and communication style
- Deliver storytelling around Guerlain universe and products
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Barber in a luxury or high-end environment
- Strong technical mastery of traditional and modern grooming techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills and service mindset
- Detail-oriented, with a passion for luxury hospitality
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
