The position encompasses functions such as ramp and cargo handling services, driving and operating ramp vehicles and ground service equipment and interior aircraft cleaning to the highest standard while complying with State, Airport and Swissport Standard Operating Procedures and Policies

Your activities Ramp Attendant Job Functions include but are not limited to: Marshall aircraft during arrival and departure Coning and chocking of restricted areas around the aircraft Headset communication to aircraft cockpit as authorized, trained and certified to do Inspect ramp areas adjacent to gate and aircraft for debris/FOD and remove/dispose of when found Unload wheelchairs and child strollers and deliver to designated location Service aircraft water and lavatories Collect and load mail, live animals, wheelchairs and child strollers onto aircraft Assists both inbound and outbound passengers by physically transporting them throughout the airport facilities with the use of company assigned wheelchairs as per training received, policies and procedures

Lift on Lift off of wheelchair passengers on to aircraft and off aircraft Unload, offload and deliver passenger luggage and air cargo, bulk and/or containers/pallets, onto carts and/or dollies, aircraft holds

Handling and warehousing of cargo packages by lifting, stacking, sorting, stocking and removing from warehouse racks and shelves

Provide special handling of luggage/cargo as required/directed e.g. fragile items, heavy items, etc

Prepare and palletize cargo as needed Make sure paperwork related to the cargo is correct Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations Your profile CXC O’Level Passes including Math and English Valid Driver’s License Willingness to work in inclement weather Flexible to work on various shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays) Ability to read, write and understand and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, policies, procedures and man Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
