SkillBridge Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) Apprentice
Job Description
The SkillBridge Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprentice is a transitioning service member participating in the DoW SkillBridge program who receives hands-on training and mentorship in civilian aircraft maintenance operations. Under the supervision of certificated Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) and leadership, the participant supports heavy maintenance operations on Boeing 737, Boeing 757, Boeing 767, and Airbus A320 Family aircraft. Under licensed supervision, apprentices perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections in alignment with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) manuals, customer requirements, and FAA regulations. All training and OJT hours will be logged and utilized toward eligibility for the FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant certification exams.
