Clean Team Inc. is seeking a motivated Area Manager to oversee commercial cleaning operations throughout the Grand Rapids area. This full-time leadership position is ideal for candidates with experience in janitorial services, custodial management, facilities operations, commercial cleaning supervision, or multi-site operations management.
The Area Manager will oversee multiple commercial client accounts, lead janitorial teams, maintain service quality standards, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction across several facilities.

Job Details
• Position: Full-Time Salaried
• Location: Grand Rapids, MI
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Shift: Approximately 3:30 PM-12:30 AM
• Weekend Rotation: Rotating on-call schedule required

Key Responsibilities
• Supervise janitorial and custodial employees across multiple facilities
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance evaluations
• Ensure commercial cleaning services meet company and client expectations
• Train, coach, and support cleaning staff on safety procedures and productivity standards
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and labor management
• Address employee performance, attendance, and disciplinary matters as needed
• Build strong client relationships through professional communication and responsiveness
• Monitor operational performance, retention, and service quality metrics
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
• Travel between customer locations throughout the Grand Rapids service area

What We're Looking For
• 2+ years of management or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in commercial cleaning, facilities management, environmental services, hospitality, or related industries preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and customer-service focused
